#28. Your elected official's office-

We went to the legislative office building and the state capitol yesterday.  We went into both the democrat and republican offices. We saw inside one of the rooms where they hold public hearings on the bills they have to vote on.  We saw a lot of statues and other things in both buildings.

#24. The house where one of your parents grew up -

We went to visit my Grandmom and Grandad Evans at their house.  We saw a lot of my mom's artwork that she did when she was a kid. Grandad builds birdhouses in the shed in this picture. He gave us three of them to take home to hang in our yard.

#42. A Boardwalk-

I went to the Ocean City boardwalk.  We got to eat Manco and Manco's pizza. Delicious.  Then we also got to eat Johnson's caramel popcorn. It was also delicious.  We got to walk in the surf.  I sat down in the water on purpose. My sister was afraid of the waves.
#37. A farmer's market-

On our way to our aunt's house, we saw a farmer's market and we stopped there.  My sister and I got to ring the bell to open the farmer's market.  We bought honey and jam and their strawberries were delicious.

#84. Your parent's workplace-

My dad took me to work with him yesterday.  He took pictures of me at his desk for fun and he let me shred some paper and envelopes.  My dad works on "projects." He spends a lot of time on the computer and the phone.

#68. A Patisserie-

We had lovely desserts at a patisserie before we went home. Dad ordered an espresso and a black forest cake. Avril had a raspberry linzer cookie. Mom had a strawberry tart and I had a strawberry fraisier. We gave each other bites so we could taste everything. Everybody thought that Avril's cookie was the best.

#55. A Place of Worship (different than your own)-

We visited a Buddhist Temple in New York City. We saw people lighting incense, offering fruit, pouring oil and bowing to their god.
#82. An Ethnic Restaurant-

In Chinatown, we drank ginger tea, black tea and we shared original egg rolls, a pork bun and fried and steamed dumplings. This store sold plates of delicious dumplings for only a dollar! In Little Italy, we ate pizza.

We went to Chinatown and Little Italy in New York City and we saw a lot of cool stuff in both of them.

#85. A Subway-
